As a Software Engineer at FYNDNA, you will help develop our next-generation cloud native core
solution for large financial institutions. You will get an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud
technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and build solutions using Microservices, Domain driven design
principles. The units developed by you when integrated as a deployable domain component would
address a variety of functional use cases in retail banking domain.

[WHAT YOU WILL DO]

Your software engineering responsibilities will include design and development of product code in
Java EE technologies. This will require applying your knowledge of prevailing industry standards such
as Object Oriented Design Principles, UML, RESTful APIs, JPA, SQL and NoSQL for converting the
business requirements into deployable code.

Development activities will include:

• Design and develop server-side stateless services as well as web client for application
• Test software to ensure functional accuracy as well as meet nonfunctional criteria for responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and update software

[WHAT YOU’LL NEED]

Desire to engineer real time missing critical applications which touch lives, a strong sense of
ownership, urgency, and drive. Passion for both evolving existing code bases and designing
complex solutions from the ground-up. As an integral part of the development team, you will
need the following skills to succeed.

Education Qualifications and Years of Experience

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree, in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics and Communication (from one the top 100 colleges as per NIRF ranking in 2021, 2022 and 2023 for Engineering colleges)
• Three to seven years' experience in software development. Of these, at least two to five years' experience in development role in a product development organization or in developing large enterprise application(s)

Technical Proficiency

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, UML, Domain-Driven Design, and Core Java design patterns and hands on experience of Java EE technologies
• Proficient in practical implementation of applications built on microservices architecture
  using Spring boot framework ensuring they are highly scalable, reliable and available
• Hands on experience in RESTful web development
• Experience working with Relational Databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management (with GIT), build processes, testing, and operations

Added Advantage

• Familiarity with cloud technologies like docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to GraphQL, a query language used to create flexible APIs
• Experience with using NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Oracle NoSQL DB etc
• Working knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment principles.

As a Business Analyst at FYNDNA, you will help develop our next-generation cloud native core solution for small, medium and large financial institutions. The functionality designed by you when integrated as a deployable domain component would address a functional use case such as withdrawing cash from a savings account from an ATM or disbursement of a personal loan from internet banking.

[WHAT YOU WILL DO]

As a member of the Product Management team, you will research the requirements globally, analyze customer requirements and convert them into implementable software solution.Your responsibilities will include functional design and development of modules across banking domains like Payments, Origination, Deposit and Lending servicing etc. This will require you to possess good understanding of Banking operations preferably across geographies or in India. This will be a ground up development of new software solution and you will be expected to be involved in end to end development and delivery of solution components.

Your responsibilities will include:

·      Identifying pain-points of banks and provide solutions to solve those pain points

·      Designing Functional solution documents and user stories

·      Testing of the user stories for acceptance of the developed user stories

·      Maintaining Product backlog and product collaterals

·      Keeping up to date with the regulatory changes impacting the solution and making changes to the solution as required to keep up with these changes

·      Working in close coordination with internal and external stake holders like Development, Test and Implementation teams, and with customer teams

·      Be the SPOC for all functional questions raised by stakeholders across the organization for the areas of your responsibility

·      Independently conduct demos, presentations, product workshops for internal audience as well as audience representing the customer banks

[WHAT YOU’LL NEED]

[QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE]

·      Engineering or Management Degree or Chartered Accountant

·      Four to eight years’ experience

[PROFICIENCY]

·      Experience as a business analyst either in product development or implementation of a product for retail banking industry in one or more of the following areas – Payments, Customer Information File, Account Origination and Onboarding, Pricing, Deposit and Lending Servicing

·      Experience in requirement gathering, requirements documentation, change management and implementation

·      Strong understanding of Banking practices and processes in retail banking areas listed above and the intricacies involved in end-to-end transaction processing and accounting

·      Good understanding of tools for documenting requirements

·      Strong analytical and reasoning ability to justify the solution you design and document

·      Strong communication skills with ability to independently explain the requirements and solutionto Development and Testing team and ensure that the end product is as per specifications

The content will be designed to help our customers understand features and capabilities of our product and to enable them to use it as a basis to create work instructions and train their end users.

[WHAT YOU WILL DO]  

As a member of content development team, you will understand the product functionality by reviewing the user stories, using the actual system and discussing with various stakeholders. You will create various types of content to document the product.  

Your responsibilities will include:

∙ Collaborating with product management team, development team, and testing team through the product-lifecycle process to understand the product

∙ Writing User Manuals, Online Help, Release Notes, FAQs, Cheat Sheets, Training Manuals as well as instructional videos

∙ Using the latest tools and methodologies for content delivery

∙ Manage versions of contents along with the versions of software
